The Sialkot (Sambrial) – Kharian Motorway (SKM) originates from the end of Lahore – Sialkot Motorway (LSM) near Sambrial, passes through the districts of Sialkot – Gujrat and ends at Kharian (N-5). It traverses adjacent to major cities/towns like Jalal Pur Jatan, Gujrat, Lalamusa, Daulat Nagar before finally terminating near Bismillah Chowk at N-5. Total initial cost of the project was Rs 27,326,540,351/- ,however, due to current hyperinflation and unprecedented rise in the cost of construction material the project financial structure is under revision at NHA.
