Sialkot Kharain Motorway Infrastructure Management Company (SKIM Pvt Ltd) was incorporated as a private limited company as per SECP regulations in 2021. SKIM is a Special Project Company (SPC) with a registered office based in Rawalpindi, Punjab and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Frontier Works Organization (FWO).

Sialkot Kharian Infrastructure Management Private Limited (SKIM (Pvt) Ltd) is a Special Purpose Vehicle Company (SPVC) with its registered office in Rawalpindi, Punjab and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The company has been formed for the purpose of Construction and Operation/Maintenance of Sialkot Kharian Motorway, which is a 4 Lanes 69 Kms connecting Sialkot (Sambrial) to Kharian at N-5. SKIM was incorporated as a Private Limited Company as per Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) regulations on 2 September 2021. Sialkot Kharian Motorway (SKM) Project was awarded to SKIM Pvt Ltd under the Public Private Partnership (PPP) regime on Build Operate and Transfer (BOT) basis. Formal PPP Agreement was signed between SKIM (Pvt) Ltd and National Highway Authority (NHA) on 13 September 2021 for a concession period of 25 years.

Sialkot Kharian Infrastructure Management (Private) Limited (SKIM (Pvt) Ltd) being a Project Company of Frontier Works Organization (FWO) is committed to Construct the Sialkot (Sambrial) – Kharian Motorway (69 Kms, 4 Lanes having Provision of expansion to 6 Lanes) meeting World Class Standards on Build, Operate and Transfer basis (BOT) under the dynamic leadership of Mr. Abdul Sami the Chairman of SKIM (Pvt) Ltd. This Motorway is an extension of Lahore – Sialkot Motorway which will be further connected to Rawalpindi/Islamabad in near future.

Teams of Highly qualified and experienced Engineers and Field Staff of Designer, Independent Engineer and FWO are deeply involved for the quality assurance during execution. Completion of this project will be a great achievement of efforts of all stakeholders and value addition in the inventory of motorways of the country. This state of the art motorway will not only provide faster and safe travel between key economic hubs but will promote socio-economic activities all along the route.

I pray and hope that this motorway is commissioned as per plans so that general public can reap the benefits of this development. No doubt, commissioning of this project will reinforce Pakistan's commitment to upgrade road infrastructure which is a pivotal factor for the prosperity and economic progress people.
